Northern Edge is a group that performs Southern Gospel music and they thoroughly enjoy what they do! Whether singing upbeat, toe-tapping traditional numbers, heart-warming old hymns or a one of their newer arrangements it's uplifting to just sit back and listen. Although their musical style is grounded in Southern Gospel, they incorporate other types of Christian music into most of their presentations. In a Northern Edge concert you can expect to hear sounds from traditional, to contemporary, to blends between gospel and blues winding themselves together around the message of God's Love and His Plan of Salvation.

The group started as a family vocal trio in early 2000 and family harmony continues to be a strong characteristic of the Northern Edge sound. Singing lead is Brett Bromley, on alto is Lynn Bromley, singing bass is Kelly Bromley and Tim Harvell, a good family friend, brings in the high tenor part.

The goal of Northern Edge is to present the Good News of Jesus Christ through song. To achieve this goal they:
- promote the ministry of other artists through their 'Night of Southern Gospel' concert series presented in two venues twice a year.
- host and produce 'Good Gospel Morning' a weekly radio show.
- host, in association with Eddie Crook, the annual 'Great Lakes Gospel Sing', a two-day event which features 20 artists.
- are available to sing in churches or community events.

At ease, both on stage and with each other, Northern Edge can swing easily from an old standard to one of several original songs written and arranged by members of the group.
Northern Edge has completed four CDs; the last two produced by The Eddie Crook Co. on their Morningstar label.

Invitations to perform at churches or community events are always welcome.
