Notes from the Edge

Summer is officially here, 91 degrees today. Wow!! That's hot. How can it be June 23 already? We're as busy as a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs, as Tennessee Ernie Ford used to say. One would think that I could find time to write a few paragraphs at least once a week. Actually, it is very busy right now as we get ready for the Great Lakes Gospel Sing this weekend. We hope YOU are planning to come. We'll be at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Ludington for the event kick-off at 5:30 Friday evening. It's going to be a great time with so many of our friends coming to join in the Singing.

I'd like to send out a big 'thank you' to the Hart United Methodist Church where we sang a week ago. What a friendly group of folks. It always good to sing at home, but that morning seemed special. Thanks to John & Maureen Huizing for the invite, we hope to see you all again.

Thanks to all of you who have called to ask about the Great Lakes Gospel Sing, or CD's, or just to visit and ask what we are doing. I enjoy talking with you all. Guess I better get back to work, lots to do. Hope to see you this weekend!
